I believe that stories help us to ennoble ourselves, to fix what is broken in us, and to help us become the people we dream of being. Lies that tell a deeper truth.

    Happy New Year

Happy New Year everypony! I spent the night, and day today, just gaming:rainbowlaugh: Playing some Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, which is absolutely fantastic! If you loved Baldur's Gate 3 and love 40k, Rogue Trader is the perfect RPG to get into. As for my plans in 2024, I do have a story nearly finished. It's a quick one-shot and I'm hoping to upload it before the end of the month. Hopefully you

    Happy Festivus!

Many of you may not know of the time honored tradition of Festivus. But it is a great tradition that I love! It starts with the airing of grievances and ends with the feats of strength. Oh and instead of a tree, there is a metal pole that is raised. Happy Festivus everypony!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope you all had a better one than I did! Yesterday I got a bad bout of food poisoning and still in the recovery process today:twilightsheepish: But I did get to spend the day with my dad so I’ll count that as an absolute win. Just wish I could’ve enjoyed the food more!:rainbowlaugh:

Farewell Jason · 4:54pm May 30th, 2021

MotoGP suffered a horrible loss today with the passing of 19 year old Jason Dupasquire. He was involved in a multi driver accident earlier today where he suffered serious injures and was transported to a nearby hospital. The hospital later announced that he had passed away.

I don't follow the MotoGP series at all, but when tragedies such as this occur, all of motorsports come together to honor these brave people chasing their dreams. The sad truth is that all these racers, regardless of their series, put their lives on the line to pursue what they love. Back in 2019 we lost an F2 driver, Antoine Hubert, in Spa. Just last year F1 driver Romain Grosjean suffered a horrible crash where his car was ripped in half and caught fire. By nothing short of a miracle he was able to get out, only suffering burns to his hands. Safety has come a long way in these sports, but by no means is it safe. All these people are forced to accept that there's a chance they could die pursuing their dream. It takes incredibly brave people to do that.

My deepest condolences to the friends and family of Jason Dupasquire. I can't begin to imagine how horrible of a loss this is for them.
