Feline Fantasies general update: May 2021

Hiya guys, TAD here back again, once again! I hope y'all have been enjoying your weekend so far! It's the end of the month once more, so here I am with another update regarding the game's progress so far! Hold on to your horses (or felines, in this case), because the game is almost around the corner! :D

As of today, all of Southern Ruby Island is complete except for a final feline, that being Gracie. That's literally it. All what's left to be done is implementing her new art once it's been completed, alongside a few backgrounds. After that is done, my beta-testers and I will start running the game so we can get rid of any nasty bugs.

And then, we can officially release the game to our Patrons! So, if you want to have a chance to play the game early, now would be the best time to support us! Every Patron who supports us with $5 and up can play the game a week early!

Now, y'all probably want to know a release date. Although I can't say an official date yet, I can give estimates. I suspect that the final art of Gracie will be finalized between now and two weeks. Implementing it won't take that long. Then it's a matter of beta-testing the game. I suspect, if we don't run into any major bugs, that everything will be finalized in three weeks from now!

So, I can say with about 90% accuracy, that the game will be released publicly at the end of next month! ^^

I'm super stoked and excited for it! After so many major setbacks and personal problems, y'all kept believing in me and sticking with me, and for that, all of you have my utmost and sincerest gratitude! Whether you've been supporting me since 2018 or are just a lurker who occasionally checks up on any updates, to all of you, thank you so much! <3

My small team and I will continue to work on the game even when Southern is released to give y'all a completed product, which includes the six felines from Northern Ruby Island, and the final boss.

I can't say where Feline Fantasies will be heading after that. I have tons of ideas, but the fact of the matter is that I've been developing this game since June of 2018. Side B started development of Southern Ruby Island somewhere in March 2020, meaning it took around 15 months to complete. Northern, I will expect, will take just as long.

In any case, I'm super grateful this idea of mine, which took shape somewhere at the beginning of 2018, is finally being set in stone forever! :D
