    New ideas

I am about to do the episode Ponyville Confidential and I am not sure which idea to choose from. Let me know which one sounds the most fun for all of you or if you have a better idea I will add it to the list.

Using the golem to work in the orchard instead of his magic
Something to do with courting Twilight (secretly dating)
No evidence of hunting monsters (lying to everypony)

I am to the point in the next chapter of 2.0 that we meet up with Sasa. In the original, he used magic to heal her but this time around we do not have that luxury since he does not use magic when others are around unless they know about it already. There are Blue and the menagerie caretaker. I am tossing around the ideas of him using the World Spirit without knowing it by channeling through the Element itself. Or have the caretaker do a vanishing act. I have written versions of both but I am torn between them and I can't decide :twilightsheepish:.

Version 1: World SPirit and blame the magic on the Element
Version 2: caretaker goes away

Let me know what you guys think and I will hopefully have it ready quickly and publish it as well. Thank you!

I’d say go the element route since you can technically expand the unused potential of the other elements later on using the element of spirit as a base. In a way spirit would effectively be the missing horn and more of less a focus for his growing power.

i think you need to use a third option such as witcher potions.

Perhaps something along the lines of when he approaches her the element aka his medallion begins pulling him towards her, once both the medallion and his hoof are touching her he starts sensing what is wrong with her, perhaps something along the lines of her spirit no longer being stable or it is leaking and he unknowingly/semi unknowingly calls on and uses the world spirit to bind her spirit to his in some way to patch the leak/stabilize her spirit. This could also be used as an explanation for the telepathic link they get, her desire to stay with him and any physical changes she goes through/witcher traits gained. He can also then use the excuse that it was the element that did it and not him so he doesn't have to reveal his magic.

It's been a while since I read this chapter in the original so I don't really remember what happens there besides them bonding or something but either way feel free to use any of these ideas as you want. Keep up the good work, loving both versions. :moustache:

:applejackconfused: I would personally like to see what would happen if the caretaker was never there.
:twistnerd: But expanding on how the element works is an interesting Idea for how its connected to harmony and such.
 And if there was the bottle of magic that a Witcher would have that would help here.
:coolphoto: There was a spell that help with spirits in the game for fighting wraiths and such.
Yrden was the name for it. :scootangel:
