KNOCK! KNOCK!

"huh? who goes there?" I said as I heard two knocks from the front door downstairs.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

"I'm coming! jeez, what's with the rush" I then got up from my bed (after having a nap that was cut short by the damn knocking) and made my way downstairs. I made it to the front door and opened it.

"ah fuck..." and to my surprise: it is Ramirez (I refuse to call her my daughter again), I sighed and looked at her annoyed "the fuck you want that is so important you had to wake me from my nap? do you want money or something?"

"do it," she said blankly and with no expression on her face.

"do what?" I said confused as I looked at her, trying to guess what she meant.

"erase my memory father...I don't wanna remember my past anymore..."

"Are you sure? if we do this then you would lose everything, it's like resetting your player in a game" I explained as I let her in the house.

"I don't got nothing to lose now...just do what you have to do..." she said as she sat down in the middle of the living room.

I closed the door behind me and walked towards her "*sigh* you know what the others are gonna say right? this isn't my department but...don't you think this isn't right? like...I know you've been through a lot but that doesn't mean you gotta erase everything"

she looked at me sternly "I. don't. care."

I shrugged "alright if you say so. just know that if everyone gets mad at me, I'm blaming you. alright, just close your eyes, and once I snap my finger... it's all gone"

she nodded silently and closed her eyes, getting ready to wipe out her brain like a memory card or some shit.

I raised my hand and got ready to snap my fingers "any last words Ramirez?" I asked.

"nope..."

"alright...I hope this is the best thing to do" I said right before I snapped my finger.

snap!

thud!

the snap was followed by a loud thud! as Ramirez fell onto the ground unconscious 'oh yeah, they blackout when it happens...' I thought to myself as I approached Ramirez and picked her up off the floor "well...that's that I supposed" I said as I took her upstairs and laid her on her old bed.

"I should probably prepare a meal when she wakes up, she'll probably be hungry" I looked at her one more time before closing the door behind me "*sigh* I'm gonna get my ass handed to me when they find out...good thing I can return her memories tho..."
