There is a small contest going on for chapter one outlined in the Author's Note on the first comment. The contest is ending soon, and I thought I'd write a quick blog post outlining it again to hopefully scare up a few more entries.
Echriedz devised an excellent game when we were editing, which is roughly entitled "What Rainbow Dash's Last Words Should Have Been." Here is a small sampling of some that the two of us came up with:
"None of you are in my will."
"Dear Princess Celestia....fuck you."
"Rarity...you're starting to get a lil fat."
"Shit...I forgot to feed Tank."
"Damn, what smells so delicious?"
"Hey Pinkie, hurry up and pull a fire extinguisher out of your ass."
"I guess I'm..." Puts on sunglasses. "FIRED."
"So how was your day, Rarity? We never have a chance to just talk anymore."
"Hey AJ, wanna hoof wrestle?"
"I secretly poisoned one of you."
"Are you ready kids? OOHH who lives in a pineapple under the sea?"
"This is what I get for voting for Obama."

The contest is to come up with your own "better" final words for Rainbow Dash. Post to the comments here, in the comments section of Coming Back, or shoot me a PM between now and Sunday, December 2nd at 11:59 PM EST. No restriction on number of entries per person, although for the sake of sanity it might be best to confine your entries to a single comment or PM. Winner will be chosen by the rigorous method of "which one we like the most" and will get the chance to preread chapter 2 before it goes live next Thursday.
