The Return of Leader of House Starswirl

I know I haven't updated LoHS in a while. Between original fiction projects, university, and life in general, I haven't put in the work on it. Honestly? I don't think there are any readers who care about it. But I care about it, and that's good enough for me. I hope to start working on it again, even if only for 15 minutes a week. Let's have a go at this once again.

Plans for Leader of House Starswirl

Meeting of the Four Edited · 5:28pm May 11th, 2021

I was incredibly dissatisfied with the chess scene in "Meeting of the Four", so I took the time to edit the chapter. While this shouldn't change the overall story, I do believe that it does a lot of good.

I was torn about making this edit, but I decided to go for it. It was major enough to cause a desire, and I want to provide the best version of my story I can. I obviously don't ever want this to be a regular thing, but it unfortunately needed to be done. I also fixed a few typos I didn't catch the first time, and I hope it will have an overall more polished feel than before.

What was troubling was the need for an edit. I was weary of doing it for fear of setting a precedent of being willing to put out sub-optimal chapters that get fixed later, but I think I can keep that from happening. Post-edits are a damage mitigation tactic, but it might be necessary a few times.
