GOOD MORNING, FIMFICTION FANATICS!!! This is the Dramamaster829; Critic, Actor, Writer, Motivational Speaker and Occasional Singer keeping you up to date with the latest news for the Generation 5 movie and beyond! Over the past few months, probably less, it's almost felt like a privilege for myself to keep our fans up to date ever since word of a second movie of today's generation of MLP fans was first declared. Now between these few blogs, a lot of my readers have been asking the same question: 'When' is the movie actually going to come out? Personally I ask myself the very same question...

NUTS TO YOU TOO, LADY!!! *Takes deep breath* As of right now, the original airdate for the MLP feature, which was slated for a theatrical release around fall of this year, had been changed since it was declared it would instead be released on Netflix for streaming. Whether or not this means fans will watch the movie for free or still actually 'pay' to watch the movie remains to be 'officially' determined at this time (And if there 'is' an official word, I am clearly behind). Either way we put it, as of right now the most knowledge we've gotten from the movie are a few teaser animations of the cast and what we can expect from them with no word yet as to the release of a potential trailer. Speaking of trailer releases, I did receive word of some schedule detailing MLP plans and as of this time I feel it is within best interest to introduce my readers just what we are dealing with...

*Sighs* There are times I should've actually taken another language course... so apparently, this schedule came from Russia's annual licensing expo, though as you'll soon see there may be reasons why this schedule is... 'slightly' outdated. Apparently, they were supposed to have a teaser for the movie 'last' month. Course, that obviously didn't happen or else... we would've seen it already (Unless the teasers 'were' those character animations we saw on Facebook). Which could only mean that 'unless' there is a teaser slated for release, the earliest we can assume for it to come out 'maybe' is sometime this month or so. Rumor has it that an actual full-length trailer is slated to come out between the months of June and July, under the agreement that we are taking this news with a grain of salt. However we put it, I can assure this to the readers catching this blog that something big is coming for the MLP community and you never know what Hasbro itself will decide to do.
I'm definitely going to need more popcorn...
*Pause* Anyways... the bigger question remains: What do you think?

At this point, I am sure we 'all' do. I for one am curious about this new world myself. Else I wouldn't spend most of this channel just blogging about an upcoming movie.

Word has been going out along Equestria Daily for quite some time. Even Facebook and Instagram is in on it. But suffice to say, the movie itself has not been as 'heavily' promoted as it could be. Hence why it's an easy topic to miss, especially if there's no reason to pay heed to it.

That is a shame because Dr. Wolf has been discussing all the aspects about the upcoming movie as much as anyone on YouTube too. The dude is very informative after all.
Anyways, all we can do is wait until more official news comes out in the meantime.

Yep. Some news is better than no news at all. Just a while ago, they are even starting T-Shirt sales for the upcoming movie.
