OC-Contest Winners and Further Plans · 7:00pm May 1st, 2021
Hello everyone,
The deadline has passed. The concepts are in and have been reviewed. Before I announce the winners, though, may I just say how thankful I am to everyone who participated. There has been, genuinely, not one OC that was badly made and it was honestly very difficult for me to choose the eventual winners. You all did a great job! 
As such, I decided that every character-concept pitched will be included in the story. Of course, this means for everyone who didn't win that you will at least see your characters either mentioned in the background or have minor roles going forward. I feel that is the fairest outcome for all the effort you put in.
And now to our winners! Drumroll, please!!
In 3rd place, we have Carbonnanotube with Melam. What sold me on this character, aside from being one of the few male characters pitches, was his power-set. Very unique and I'm looking forward to writing it.
In the 2nd place, we have IgnisKitsune with Vanadinite. Very nice concept, great personality with loads of potential. Some useful powers and a great backstory.
And 1st place is...The Great Derpsby with Naamah. While a lot of the field was tight, this one convinced me early on of being up at the top. Great design, very well balanced, and one I genuinely can't wait to write as a character.
Now, I won't get too much into detail about each character, as you will soon see them in action anyway. But I hope once you do you can see why they won this competition. Big praise and thanks from me to everyone who participated and I hope, you will have a lot of fun going forward with my story and all the characters in it, especially your own.
Aside from this, I also wanna announce that I have the next contest already in the planning stages. It will be revealed in detail around the same time of the Second Interlude, so likely in three months or so, depending on how far we come. It will not be an OC-contest, but instead focus on worldbuilding and background events. Further details in the coming months, but I can promise already, that everyone will be getting something out of this.

I can't believe I managed to get into the top 3 with 2nd place of all things. I'm really glad that you enjoyed my character Vanadinite that she managed to get 2nd place. Congratulations to everyone and especially to Carbonnanotube with Melam in 3rd place and The Great Derpsby with Naamah in 1st place. I can't wait to see what you will do with all the characters (especially Vanadinite) in the story and how they will affect Twilight in the near future.

Again, Congratulations to both of you as well. I too am also curious on how your characters will affect the story especially yours The Great Derpsby since you won first place. I can't wait to see our characters in action and interact with each other in the story.

The worldbuilding contest is probably a good idea. Or, for that matter, more information regarding how and why Tartarus and the daemons trapped there function. The roleplaying is great fun, you see, but I'm increasingly worried we're stepping on your creative toes with it, DarkGal.
One of the reasons I wrote my Tartarus daemon to have damaged memory is because then he can always just be wrong about things. It's YOUR setting, so, are we dragging too much outside baggage into it at the moment?
