    I'm back, and writing again

    Hi people,

Just wanted to let my followers know I'm back and working on some writing again.

Sorry for the long delay! Because of health, I wasn't really feeling up to working on anything for much of 2023, but I'm better now, and hope to have a new entry in the Anecdotes of Heart published in the next few weeks.

    Pony Canada

    I heard it's Canada Day.

I'm not from Canada, but I made a ponified Canada Map on a whim like a month ago and someone told me to post it on Canada day.
So here you go, have Canada if it was part of Equestria and therefore subject to an unrelenting barrage of horse puns.

    I'm on a break, I guess

Gotta be honest with you guys: I haven't written basically anything since releasing the Celestia's Academy Course Catalogue in December.

Examining the Results of the previous blog

    Hello again!

It's been three days now since I made the post asking if there's any interest if I were to produce some NSFW content, the comments have stopped rolling in and votes on the poll I posted seem to have come to a halt, so it's time to take a look at what I learned.

    1. The Poll

Is there any audience among my readerbase for NSFW? (Poll in post)

I'm looking for opinions, so I just put that right in the title so people will look at this.

Hey guys,

I'm still here, though it's been a little while.

You might remember a blog post about two months back where I mentioned I got a new job, and things since then have been a whirlwind of activity as I shifted my life to something entirely different than it was at the beginning of the year. Here's some of what I've been up to!

1. New job - I'm a medical microbiologist now, working at a hospital and testing patients' specimens for pathogens.
I'm testing for Covid, too, but I've been vaccinated now, so that's a relief!
...Also, my new workplace, coincidentally, is on Dewey Street,, and those of you who've read my novels know why I'm delighted by that. :derpytongue2:

2. New state - I live in Vermont now. It's a bit colder here than I'm used to for this time of year, but that's what I was hoping for, honestly. The state is beautiful, and as a hiker, the mountains are amazing. There are mountains beside my town bigger than any in the whole state I came from!

3. New apartment - I got a sweet deal. Two bedroom apartment, with all utilities included in the rent, for a reasonable price. And it's only a two-minute commute to work!

4. New... profile pic? I've had the same profile pic for years and years, so I changed it to a slightly suspicious looking Dinky.

Anyway, now that things are finally settling down, hopefully I can start writing again. Not giving any timeframe on release of anything, but I'm working on it. Or trying at least.

wow, dang :O that sounds awesome!

Congratulations!!! From earlier blog posts it seemed pretty clear that your work was weighing you down, so it's great to hear you're managed to move on! (I admittedly saw your first post about quitting your job, but I didn't comment immediately, then went full social anxiety and didn't comment at all lol)

Either way, point is, congratulations!!! :pinkiehappy:

Congratulations! Your new job sounds like a good opportunity and the area is wonderful. Sounds like you made a great move!

Congratulations!

New pic threw me off, but I quite like it. Good to hear life is going well.
