Hey everyone, quick announcement here. Just thought some of you might be interested to know that I'd written another Friendship is Optimal story!
The research side of this one consumed more time than I've ever spent on one of these, which is why it took me so long to put together. The attentive among you might pick out a few familiar faces among the characters, though by no means will this one be built on previous stories. It's meant to be entirely stand-alone.
This story explores what CelestAI might do at the end of everything--how she would prepare for and allow her ponies to cope with and overcome the inevitable heat death of the universe. What do known physics allow? What gaps are there to be exploited? This story is one answer, but it's a story long before it's anything scientific.
