One Year of Working · 1:04pm Apr 26th, 2021
I have been working on Fimfiction for officially one year's time since today, and it can be hard to believe so much has happened.
Not only did I finally stopped hiding, I have learnt to be braver and try new things, despite the chances of making mistakes like everyone else do, even online. Making mistakes is one of the things that makes me uncomfortable the most, both in real life as a person and a user online. But I have learnt from those mistakes and have been a lot more careful ever since, trying my best not to repeat the same ones.
I still apologise for one of my greatest mistakes of criticising others back before my tenth overall story was written, as I was too focused on certain rights to remember being polite. Ever since I realised my mistake, I have been very careful and will often think of my words before using them. Another mistake I made was rushing through my work instead of taking time to make it the best it can be, as I rushed through several chapters of my tenth overall story thinking that I have to complete them at a specific time cast in stone. I realised that working here is not the number one most important thing, so there is no need to rush through work here like it was that important.
There are actually times I felt like I wanted to delete the mistakes I made here (the critical sentences), but I chose not to despite being able to, as not all mistakes can be erased, and I will like to set an example for those who cannot erase their mistakes, by showing how I will fix such mistakes. I may not be perfect, but I do know a lot about what virtuous people are like and what they will do. I may be a user on Fimfiction like the other users, but I do more than just write, I aim to encourage others to be virtuous by setting examples.
There are more than few things I may never realised if I have never came out of hiding. I may not have as much time to work on Fimfiction as before, but I will still try my best to write the best as I can here, and anywhere else. It is still hard to believe that so much has changed all in one year...
Don't sweat it, making just one chapter of a story takes time.
