Nailah pointed me towards this contest and I immediately thought about, well, this. Then I thought of the title and decided I had to do it.
(Disclaimer: I do not, in fact, believe Cadance is a terrible mom, but I liked this idea too much not to write it.)
Also I probably spent longer trying to find screenshots of the exact three facial expressions I wanted for the cover than I did writing the actual story. I'm selling this well, aren't I? Hey, it got me back in the featured box again, because of course it did - only the fourth time that's ever happened to me in over two years, so, um, there's that. Anyway, enjoy! I had fun.
