Hello all, wow it's been a while hasn't it?
Sorry for the delay to, well, everything, but writer's block and some personal matters mainly depression due to joblessness and the fact that my country is led by our version of Republicans has made it hard to find motivation to write, motivation I had managed to find this morning (Australian time that be) and I started to bang out the next chapter to, of all things, Scarlet Tears.
Then I went out to buy dinner.
Look, I'll cut out the bush beating and just admit that, being the evidently malcoordinated man-child that I am, I managed to trip and land hard, jarring my right elbow. Currently I know that it isn't broken, though I've not seen a doc to have it checked as it was about 6:30 PM and nowhere being open, but to bend my elbow hurts, and turning anything below my elbow is a straight-out nope, meaning that my muse is now being wasted on an injury.
This really sucks, and not just because I'm in pain but because I was looking forward to finishing and posting said chapter. Currently I'm typing entirely with my left hand, and this is both slow and really damned awkward. I'll do what I can with what I've got and hopefully get that chapter out soon, but at the rate I now type, this is going to be a while.
Again, really sorry about the constant delays and lack of posting, I was really hoping to break the dry spell by Friday, but now I dunno. I'll keep you posted if/when I can.
Stay safe, wash your hands, wear a mask, and don't be stupid like I am.
*UPDATE 20/4/21*
Sorry that it has been so long for me to update you guys, but the long and short of it is that I apparently broke my arm on my radius, just beneath my elbow. I cannot twist my forearm whatsoever, and though I don't need a cast as it is only a fracture, it is difficult for me to get into, and stay comfortable in, a position where I can freely type.
I shan't give up, though; I will continue to try and work on the chapter I had already started.
Elbow injuries suck the root, really hope you recover soon.
