Obmanshchik was born in Stalliongrad and spent his first 30 years of life as a serf. He escaped Stalliongrad during a peasant revolt by tricking the guards into thinking he was part of the royal family attempting to get to safety. After years of traveling, he met up with Blutknochen and received the Element of Deceit. He was responsible for enthralling the Roanoke Colonists and using them to Sack Canterlot.
