The female changeling cursed under her breath as she resisted the urge to snap the console in her hands into two pieces. Well, maybe even more than two pieces, with how this has been going down for her for like the past twenty or thirty minutes.
Even behind the purple glasses, her eyes were still glued to the small screen in her hands, and her fingers were continuously fidgeting with the buttons as well as that little nub of a joystick. She’d quietly hiss through her teeth every time she either made a foul move with said joystick or pressed a wrong button, consequently resulting in her virtual character taking more damage from her opponent.
Speaking of her opponent…
Bezier snuck what was supposed to be a quick glance at the dark cyan changeling next to her. A taller-than-the-average reformed male changeling confidently handling his game controller like this game was merely a cakewalk. And he’d say it was, too, every time he won a match.
