A Dismissed Sunset
Sunset Shimmer stepped out the magical portal mirror. Then used her magic to pick the biggest couch she could find and smash the damn thing to pieces.
"Never, ever again."
She was finally back home.
Granted she would be probability get arrested but compared to the years without magic and as hairless ape... worth it.
She had been such a fool by getting tricked by the darn mirror, it was probably just a stupid test and she failed it.
Then as she exited the storage room were the mirror was, she almost bumped into...
Wait a minute, tall pony, tall as a horse, horn and wings, moon themed cutie mark.
She was sure that she had read about this somewhere... Oh No!
"AHH NIGHTMARE MOON IS BACK!"
Sunset Shimmer backed away in horror, hyperventilating and regreting having just smashed her only ways to escape.
Meanwhile Luna started at the unicorn with a mix of horror, shock and guilt. And the two ponies just... stayed like that for a few minutes.
Sunset then got impacient. "Uh... are you going to eat me now or what?"
"WHAT?"
"You are Nightmare Moon, you eat ponies unless they give you candy and I am out of candy and... I got in your way."
"Again, What?"
And then princess Celestia found the two of them and gave Sunset Shimmer a hug, but she overdid it and the unicorn fainted.

"So to sum it up, you used to be my sister student until you had a break up about something involving the magic mirror you smashed to.pieces recently?" Princess Luna was trying very hard to act seriously, her sister student or not, Sunset Shimmer was a very cute and adorable filly and she loved children.
"That... that THING, stuck me in a parody of Equestria were I had no magic, I was a hairless ape and I got arrested because I didn't know the local customs. It took me years to win the hairless apes trust so they would let me wander on my own and when the portal finally opened back to Equestria I used it to get back here. And then I didn't want risking going there again or worse some of those apes following me here."
"Oh you poor dear, that must have been quite horrible for a child your age." Luna then have Sunset a hug making the orange unicorn blush.
"Stop, I am not a little filly!"
"Then something must have messed you up on the return trip. Because you barely look a year older than the time you got your cutie mark." Celestia had been trying to not think on how cute and adorable a filly version of Sunset Shimmer looked but then Luna had to go and hug her!
Sunset Shimmer finally looked herself over "Oh... great... now Celestia will just sent me to my room instead of the dungeons."
"Why would I sent you to the dungeons?" Celestia asked, sounding confused.
"Uh... because I disobeyed you, I was rude and you were going to kick me out the castle?" Sunset Shimmer said looking down, she was such a cute little filly, barely taller than her newest student, Twilight Sparkle was when she won her cutie mark, and the sad face and lowerered ears were quite adorable. Good enough even to make Celestia forget why she had been angry with her. But no, she had to be firm and had a reputation to maintain.
"You were trapped for years in a mirror world without your magic, and once you got free you have ended as a mere child, being forced to grow up again. You already have suffered a worse punishment than I would be willing to give you. Not to mention I never intended to imprison you. I... I should have never showed you that stupid thing." Celestia then nuzzled the yellow and orange filly neck. And Luna then hugged the two of them, getting carried by the moment.
"That said, if you truly regret what you have done, I have a task for you my student." Celestia smiled.
"Yes?"
"May you go back to school and this time, make friends? I know it must be humiliating to be treated younger than you are but-"
"Yes! Anything but those horrible apes and losing my magic again!" Sunset Shimmer was very eager to agree, considering that she had expected at least a few years of jail time she could deal with a few brats, right?

The next day...
'I think the dungeons would have been less of a torture.' Thought the filly upon looking at the chaos caused by her new classmates during recess. Worse, she knew perfectly well that using any magic to 'deal with the problem' was not something she could get away with... at least not anymore.
AN: Despite being an Omake this is what I plan to do with Sunset Shimmer in Unlucky Seven if she ever shows up. So... canon until me and Breakdown actually get to have Sunset in the story I guess?

I read the first chapter, and i have to admit to being confused. Where is she? Equestria? Our World? Did she leave her friends behind? At first, I thought she meant they had died. How long had she been there? did her friends get the same treatment (as-in, dd they get new memorues, too?).

You apparently did not read the full chapter, while the Twilight The Wish Granter segment is confusing, the next part makes it clear is Earth.
Basically G1 Twilight is on the beach, on Earth, and makes a wish. After she went from human to pony and is... kinda unsure if it is real or not.
But to clarify, all of the humans turned ponies are on Earth.
