haha oops it's the last day of month gotta do the thing c.c;;
I got my first COVID shot today. Took an hour to get to the facility. :/ In that two-hour round-trip, I finished the first draft of Tall Sun Mommy, Please Step on Me, so that's a thing! In fact, hell with it, here it is, in all its unedited glory, have at it! It's T-rated. :B
Like a G5 Too did numbers this month, as they say. And I also put out Impending for Past Conditional, so that was cool. :) I need more pony dreams about Tempest
Other than that, well, I'm on new anti-depressants that are... not exactly doing what I thought they'd do? This is week three, though, and my mood seems to have stabilized after a week one "WEEHEE!" and a week two everything is terrible. :B I'm still working on Sentinels decks (nearly done with Trixie), and I've gotten back into Stepmania in a big way. I've even dug up the old website I used to enter contests at, and even a single person who remembers me from fifteen years ago! :D It's cool. Point is, I've dusted off my old simfiles and started 'remastering' them, and if anyone is interested in that, I'll provide links to the pack when there are links to provide.
Other than that, things are going onward. My main concern is just the sheer number of medical appointments I need to make. x.x I'm starting to hate going to the doctor's.
Living in the midwest spoils me. Walk in to vote with my driver's license in hand, no line, out in five minutes. Walk in to donate blood, about three people in line, and through. Walked in to the Covid clinic where my wife was getting her shot, no line, no waiting and got a leftover. Walked into the DMV... Um... Some things are universal constants.
Medical is one of those. I'm no longer covered by warrantee and can't find any original parts anymore.
I kept waiting for Nightmare Moon to show up with even bigger bonkhonagahoogs. humongous hungolomghononoloughongous.

Glad you got your shot at least. And it sounds like you're taking well to it, which is good. When I got mine, I got (as usual whenever I get a vaccine) a pseudo version of the flu for three days.

I hear the second shot does more side effects. I tend to always get sick after a flu shot (though not last year!), so I'm expecting it. :B But we'll see.

I mean, it is really hard to say: my wife (Pfizer) and my son (Moderna) had nothing of note. I’m waiting on #2. Coworkers, friends, etc have reported some issue–ages range all over–but nothing serious or long lasting. Don’t let it bug you.

My arm's hurt all day today, so that was a thing.

I had the distinct sensation that it moved from high upon my shoulder, the injection site, down to my elbow. Felt “blah” for almost a week afterwards, but that could be about sixteen things this year/time of year.
The weirdest reaction that I’ve heard of was from my neighbor two doors to the north, something that seemed more allergic than immunological and on her first shot. She has to get doctor’s approval before getting her second, but given how she’s talked in the past, I don’t think that will stop her. She’s the mom of two, let us say, now aging (middle school) FiM fans and would be much happier working than home schooling them!
Oh man, I also just jumped back into Stepmania this week! I'm so lucky my dense foam mats still work, you can't hardly find them anymore.
