Gender-bending spells were canon for all of about two minutes, and then Twi said nopony could actually do them, and I was sad.

I still maintain that, because Luna's magic is a cut above other ponies', she would be able to perform a gender-swap spell. My headcanon will remain intact, goddammit!

560694 Maybe she meant no normal pony could do that even with advanced powers unless you were born an Alicorn. Cause if you'd note, she said that only really advanced UNICORNS could do aging spells. So when they say "nopony", I don't believe they are including the Princesses. Unless she said that specifically and I just missed it...
