Not back to KSP yet, but I did do some space stuff.

I haven't touched KSP since my early experience with KSP2 was a combination of glitchy game and impossible-to-read UI. I've been thinking about it here and there, but I've had other things to do.

But that doesn't mean I'm not doing space stuff, and yesterday I finally edited and posted a video of such.

    My muse is nagging me.

I've done very little writing the past five months, partly due to being busy, but mostly due to recurring headaches when it's writing time.

I have a couple weeks off, and I'm going to try to make time to get back on my projects (the Octavia story and novelizing Peter is the Wolf). But my mind... well... it's trying to jump ahead, or possibly back.

    Life imitates art...

So, a privately built and operated space probe became the first US lander to soft-land on the Moon last week- Odysseus.

    Extreme Nitpicky Trivia Help Wanted

I've finally begun work on that story I promised.

I need a bit of info for a minor touch, though:

Does anybody know if, through the entirety of MLP:FiM, any month in the Julian/Gregorian calendar has been named by any character in any episode whatever?

I'm prepared to make up month names, but if they use the same ones we do I won't bother.

2nd shot effect, special stream tonight, memoriam. · 10:13pm Mar 26th, 2021

(1) Current fever: 100.8 . Current sinus inflammation: massive. Work done: very little, but not zero.

Believe it or not, all of this is good news. This is exactly as expected. The whole point of the existing COVID vaccines is to trigger an immune response without actually being infected with the virus. By Monday I should be fine, with a 95% immunity from the existing variants of the virus.

That said, I was kind of hoping to be one of those with a mild or zero reaction to the second shot.

(2) In a little less than two hours I'm doing a Jackbox word-and-trivia-game stream on Twitch as part of Virtual Texas Furry Fiesta. (I was supposed to be adding more stuff to the online store on discount for the weekend, but I haven't been functional enough for that.)

Saturday will be the regular KSP stream (same time). (And yes, I did finish that enormous ion-engine burn today.) After that I'll post the poll for April game(s). I spent a bit of the stimulus on a few games I've been wanting for quite some time, all of which will be on the poll:

* MARS HORIZON (saw it on Scott Manley's channel, looking forward to it)
* DRAGON QUEST HEROES (I love the Dragon Quest RPG series)
* DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS 2 (Dragon Quest mixed with Minecraft-ish)
* FORMULA 1 2020 (I've been watching a lot of Jimmy Broadbent videos in the past year)

(3) Pour a lemonade out for Beverly Cleary, authoress of "Ramona," "Superfudge," "The Mouse and the Motorcycle," and countless other classics of 20th Century kiddie lit. April 12, 1916 to March 25, 2021.

Got my first shot the day before yesterday. I was shivering so hard at 4 am I had difficulties walking to the kitchen to get the biggest paracetamol pill I could find. Today I have muscle ache like if I got a workout. Also headaches are a headache.

Also, grandma got her first shot too... 95 years old, zero reaction...

5484027 yeah I got my first shot yesterday whe the wife got her second. She’s fine on either of them. I’m wearing my long underwear to chase away chills.
