Describing my Beliefs

I’m already making use of this one.

In America, a Libertarian is described as socially blue and economically red.

I describe myself as a Left-leaning Libertarian. In other words, that’s a Libertarian who strongly supports Democrats on social issues, but supports Republicans less on economic issues.

Because of who I am (Trans, female, WLW), I consider issues such as LGBT rights very important. I also strongly believe in a free market, but also like cheaper healthcare and colleges (though not necessarily free).

I strongly believe in free speech, and tend to read news outlets on all sides, though I’m weary around ones with a terrible fact-check record.

I appreciate all debate, so long as it is civilized. Shouting matches never help anybody.

I had more, but my thing glitched and I ended up having to re-do the entire blog post, so I’m giving the shortened version of my political beliefs, I’ll reveal my opinion on recent issues as I go on.
