(And one wonders if the last few clauses weren’t originally in there, or if that’s just standard Equestrian Magus boilerplate.)
It’s an interesting take, one which I rarely see in SoL PoE stories. One which I rarely use, to be honest.
It’s also got two things in it which are particularly near and dear to my heart, but I don’t want to say what they are and spoil the surprise.

Seriously though, thank you so much. Not just for this shout-out, but for the not-a-contest as well. Silver Sparks wouldn't exist without it, and I've really enjoyed a lot of the other stories it's spawned.

Dude, the not-a-constest is one of the best things I’ve done, it’s spawned so many great stories and so many authors have written their first story for it, and a few well-established authors have tried something they wouldn’t have otherwise. There’s been so many ideas I never would have thought of, it’s just been fantastic all around. And the best part is that it just keeps on going! Slow writer, no problem, there’s no deadline. Already submitted once, no biggie, there’s virtually no rules at all.
