The Mane 6 special attacks?

As some of you know, I made certain items of some of the characters special items, I plan them to have special attacks, but I also want them to have special attacks that originate from the Mushroom Kingdom.

So I went through the history of the Bro's attacks in the games and came across some, such as the Copy Flower and Mix Flower from Partners in Time.

should I use those items and others for the Mane 6 special attacks or make some more original ideas? i got some original ideas in the works but I wanted some feedback on if I should bring old items into the story.

I say original idea and I got one for Rainbow Dash. I call it 'ShellBoom'. She learn the move as they met and befriended the blue shell Parakoopa trio. They made her a member of their gang and a custom shell. The move will go like this; Rainbow pulls out her shell, put it one, withdraw herself in except her wings as Mario and Luigi kick it at both ground and air enemies. As they get to the final kick; Rainbow goes in the air and skybombs from above to create a strong impact that damages all enemies around.

Thank you, promise me you'll give me credit for the idea when Rainbow learns that move. Also one question for Chrysalis' Journey? Will she use Equestria Creature, Bowser's minions or both as her troops through her adventure?
