True but Shadow doesn’t help unless he wants to, or if he’s after the person fighting Sonic for revenge. In Sonic X season 3 Shadow has amnesia and can’t even remember Sonic, his friends, Maria, or Space Colony Ark. In Sonic Boom season 2 Eggman tricks Shadow. Shadow then attacks Tails, Amy, Sticks, Knuckles, and Sonic. When Sonic tells Shadow that he’s been tricked Shadow skates off seeking revenge for being tricked by Eggman. After that Shadow takes the 2 Eggmen (another entered a portal from another demension) and tried to destroy the universe. Now soon they’re making a season 3 and Shadow joins the team. Hence, in “Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric” Shadow saves Team Sonic from being destroyed by Lyric and his robots. That also shows that Shadow cares for them but doesn’t show it. But Lyric also mind controlled Shadow until Team Sonic set him free. Honestly I think Shadow cares about them but doesn’t want to get close to them for the fear of losing them like how he lost Maria. If he remembers her which I think he does cause Shadow helped get rid of Lyric and helps keep the peace sometimes. Between Sonic, and Knuckles do you ship Knuxadow, -Knuckles x Shadow- or Sonadow -Sonic x Shadow-. I think that Stick has a crush on either Tails or Shadow. She looks at Shadow somewhat in a romantic way.
