So, before I do the next chapter of UME, I wanna ask this question:
In Undertale, how do you think Golden Flowers appeared in the Ruins and in the Garbage Dump?

Maybe the flowers were originally from the surface world, but some monsters took some flowers or flower seeds with them as they were banished to the Underground.
Looking at what Flowey is able to do when he puts his mind to it, I suspect they aren't entirely natural. Yes, some of that is probably being a Golden Flower/juvenile Boss Monster Amalgamate, but he managed to grow enough roots to restrain literally everyone in the Underground. Considering his easy-to-miss "digging away" animation that appears throughout the route that ends that way, it couldn't even have taken him very long.
...I never really thought about that, I guess the monsters had a few seeds from the human world before the Barrier was created and planted them around the place.
The reason why they aren't everywhere? Asriel's Passing, meaning that only Toriel and Asgore would have them anymore. and the one's at the dump are just remnants from the thrown out flowers.
Asreal brought them in when he died.
No,wait they just fell in

But it was said that the golden flowers weren't present in the Underground at the beginning. When they died, Chara wished to see the golden flowers (their favorites), but they weren't able to because there wasn't any golden flower in the Underground at the time. The only occasion they could have been brought in was when Asriel went to the surface before returning and dying, bringing golden flower seeds with him that all spread in the throne room along with his dust, later blooming into Flowey and the other golden flowers that we can see Asgore water.
It actually reveals something rather... sick about Chara. It is revealed in one of the tapes that they mistakenly put buttercups into a pie thinking that they were golden flowers, poisoning Asgore, but they must have known that golden flowers weren't present in the Underground. So... Was it really an accident?
Anyway, for the flowers in the Ruins, there are two possibilities that I see:
-like 5469313 said, Flowey put them here for one reason or another,
-Toriel brought some seeds with her when she left for the Ruins (not sure if the first flowers had bloomed yet however, so it is possible there weren't seeds to take yet when she left).
For the Garbage Dump flowers, I only see the Flowey hypothesis working (maybe to cushion Frisk when they fell).
