Hasbro's budget is clearly bigger than their brains if they think this is going to be better than the Gen 4. They completely forgot what it was that made the fourth generation so incredible to begin with. It has a unique identity, recipe and soul to itself that cannot be replicated. I already kinda suspected- or predicted rather that they'd screw the pooch with this one, well in advance; at around the time of which they first announced their plans for it, really. I was hoping I would have been wrong. So somebody better pick up that phone, cause I fucking called it.

Generation 4 is like Resident Evil 4. The best game that was ever made and could not be replicated. Out of all of the games that Capcom has made thus far, none of them can compare to that absolute fucking masterpiece.
I am both very sad and very disappointed in Hasbro. If they collapse and have to sell their IP of MLP to someone else, due to their greed and stupidity, I will not pity them. If you offer them help, then they will learn nothing.
I sincerely hope that they can pull this out of the ground here. Cause they're walking on some mighty thin ice. I could understand it better if Gen 4 wasn't very successful and then they'd have no choice but to scrap it.
But it is- it's a real powerhouse in the profit making. The numbers don't lie. Look at all the success it has, that is legendary. Why on earth would they want to get rid of that? This a very poor business choice on their end.

but i can see your point but we half to give this a shot or just ignore it and pretend this shit does not even exist but at times we do what we can my hopes are up some what of the movie just hoping i won't die inside when watching this if it comes out (witch it will cause it will be on netflix!!)

Yeah. But I kinda knew deep down that they would ruin this. You simply cannot beat an original. Classics cannot be beaten. This is not geared towards the community anymore, this is geared for small children. Much more than it was in its former glory. How the mighty have fallen so hard. What a waste.

But then, you're trying to compare Seth who does mature satire as a career. This surprises me as Gen 4 was pretty mature as far as age appropriate cartoons were concerned. They knew they had to use a completely new set of characters because the ones from Gen 4 were a classic. It would have been much better if they just made a spinoff of Luster dawn, carrying the torch. The next generation of friendship.

Well yeah, most of the times, he will taste the food he eats. But my point is he roasts everything when it comes to cooking. Just look at his Tiktok videos. He's not tasting anything then. Seth roasts everything in animation, period. It shows a lot in his material. So it's not really fair to consider his opinion when you'd know, right off the bat that it'd be a grand slam roasting of the ages.
