A Power Ponies-Hum-Drum AU idea!

In the Power Ponies AU, the carnivores are but a legend (Dragons and Griffins). Magic is but superstition. The Power Ponies are teammates but not yet friends so they don't know each other's secret identity. Hum-Drum is a pony and is the tech wiz with the gadgets and smarts; he is basically your typical sidekick or aka "Hero Support".

In this AU Hum-Drum does not get the recognition like the Power Ponies but they do treat him with some respect and he is just fine with that. What he does is that he has built a network in which he can help each of the Power Ponies, he supports them without their acknowledgment both in and out of combat. It is all thanks to his comics.

One evening he gets kidnapped and the reason is, that he felt for one of the oldest tricks in comics. "The Damsel in distress". He gets taken away by non-other than Mane-iac +goons. She was able to realize that Hum-Drum was the small insignificant cog that was able to make the Power Ponies run very smoothly. So by taking him away it would slow them down without them realizing it. The Mane-iac has been hiding, biding her time trying to figure out how to beat the Power Ponies when she stumbles into the magic/mystic arts. In her research she decided to use Hum-Drum as a test subject, so she could use him for his insights on the Power Ponies as way to deal a powerful blow against them. The experiment goes wrong, and Hum-drum wakes up back at his original place.

Because of the experiment Hum-Drum slowly transforms here and there, as an example of that think Dr. Jeckell and Mr. Hyde except its more like Hum-Drum and Spike he goes from Pony to Dragon. Hum-Drum is able to talk with Spike by using reflective surfaces. He is against Spike, until he realizes that Him and Spike are in fact the same pony/dragon and that Spike is his dark desires, the things he wants but can get. When he transforms in to a Dragon, He does not become a brainless huge monster, He gets an athletic build body with enhancements on his power, speed, endurance and brains. He is not outright powerful or fast enough to beat Fili-Second or Saddle Ranger at their own game. As another example imagine Slade from Teen Titans as a nice reference. He permantly becomes Spike when he embraces his "Dark" desires. Spike is the Anti-Villain, he does not care about recognition or fame, the thing he cares about is the Power-Ponies. Basically, he want's them as his harem. Also the rating should be mature.
