Greetings everyone. I am currently in a bit of a lack of inspiration, also known as Writer's Block. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get some good inspiration? I am currently trying to work out some battles, social interactions, piracy, intrigue, behind the scenes events, and generic evil plotline developments.

do a couple of short stories relating to something else, maybe do some writing challenges, that how i beat my art block when it happens
First of I’m not a writer (lack of confidence) but my suggestion is to take inspiration from different story’s, shows and movies to get a good feeling of what you want or even get some good ideas from them.
Chip the block bit by bit. Another really great way is rekindling the spark that could result in a block breakthrough. Conversation or a game or a tv show can help. All depends where you get relaxation without hitting the tip point of sleep.
Read Tvtropes, they sometimes have some good stuff, maybe create a suggestion forum for the story, and read some books.
As the rebel Griffin is on its way and then Celestia Army is helping out you just have one of them Mountain starts turning blue and green turning was left of the claws of Sorrow into the claws of agony meanwhile as the king but the start his dinner he sinks his teeth into the Flesh of the Alicorn of torment and falling to Madness eyes turn green feathers meltzoff replaced by black feathers and black fur Flames blowing out of his mouth. As for the pirate part you should have a zebra that knows how to make voodoo dolls as for the pirate part you should have a zebra that knows how to make voodoo dolls kind of remind you of Blackbeard from Pirates of the Caribbean stranger tides.

I don't mean to sound insensitive, but just force yourself to write. Just getting anything down on the page really helps break through in my experience.
Take notes where you want to go with your story, then compare it to what you already have.
That's all I can think of.
Ask other people to throw out random ideas to grease the mental gears.
Do something new in your life. Something different. Does not even have to be related to the story. Writers block usually happens when your stuck in a comfortable run in life. You need to do new things to get out.

To help after the griffin war thing to keep you from running out of ideas before modern equestria(i.e. Luna's purification) try to skip a few times that he is summoned as, 'not much happened during that time', since it's not like the universe can keep throwing world ending curveballs at him(eventually it will run out of things to throw). Or make it so Celestia does something that gives him fewer times on Equis.
Rural sword batles? Lots of political intrigue/conspiracy type shit? Watch movies like Troy, Zorro, 300, and maybe even the Scorpion King. Madness and creativity are often times associated with one another, so leave your sanity behind then look madness in the eye and bite its throat out, spilling its raw creativity onto the canvas. When you are done, walk back to your sanity and use it to clean up any inconsistencies.
