Greetings fellow Pony enthusiasts! 
I just wanted to tell you guys how it is going with the new chapter, and ask for advice. 
I've been struggling with this new chapter. I always plan out the chapter before I write it, making an idea map, line out the story, and so on. I know the next chapter will take place during the Grand Galloping Gala.

Yes indeed, Pinkie!
Though as we all know, Luna is not present during that event. Now, I'm standing looking at two options.
Either A, which was the original plan, Dapper stays at the palace, helps the gala, and takes part in the chaos. (I will not reveal his part of course.)
Or B, Luna is away, and Dapper tags along, giving them some time to spend together.
Now I will admit, I lean more to option A, because it opens many doors, and have some potential to have many fun scenes. However it would not be a small chapter, I think.
But!
I wanted to hear what you guys think, what do you want to see the most? Dapper at the Gala? Or Dapper spending time with Lulu?
(I should say if he will have other options to spend time with Luna, so this is not he will pick one mare over the other kind of thing.)
I'm sure Dapper will have some other 'opportunities' with the princesses, if ya catch my drift

Maybe a little of both columns making making a 2 chapter arc... one chapter, as preparations for the gala are taking place during the home stretch, Luna sends for Dapper's assistance, and since Luna's not yet used to modern methods and is still stuck on the "Old Traditions", things start to get awkward pretty fast. Before things start getting too steamy, transitioning to the Gala where some of the events of Best Night Ever start occurring (insert "Fun Has Been Doubled" joke here that catches Celestia's attention and ending the first Gala Arc chapter here). Second chapter with Dapper making it to the Gala with more awkward shenanigans ensue (Rainbow getting close to Dapper's bad wing, Rarity mistaking Dapper for a Noble, Celestia trolling Dapper by trying to ship him with Twilight, Dapper running from Crazyshy (adds substance to the "You're Going To Love Me!" bit)... to name a few situations)
