Chapter 179 update! (2/19/2021) ('What the heck is taking me so long' edition) · 9:53pm Feb 19th, 2021

As the title says, what the heck is taking me so long at the moment? 
Well here is my excuse explanation.
The frantic work conditions have calmed down, so thankfully i got out of that situation and got right back on track, but I'm going to use this current delay to highlight something that i believe is a very important point in my usual process and hopefully will help other aspiring authors among my readers.
The topic of the day is: Organization.
Many often ask me how i manage to maintain updating on a regular (yet at times inconsistent) basis without long gaps of no activity. And most of you already know the answer, because I follow a massive outline that i spent a lot of time putting together beforehand. I know exactly where im going in the story and can often avoid writers block because i already have all my ducks in a row and i just have to follow along, tweaking things to my liking as i go so long as i dont stray from the story im ultimately trying to tell. I also plan out each chapter beforehand, writing out the whole thing in a script format to flesh out dialogue and filling in all the action/movement and environments when i move to put it into book format. The exceptions to this outline process is when i write for Twister (i leave it blank and make up crap as i go for peak randomness) and in places where i have notes i want to look back to for gags or circumstances to apply to a scene.
In this case it was the second. I have A LOT of notes saved up from over the years of writing from things i've heard around and at places, quotes, funny things, jokes, etc. and i have one list that i planned to start using right here, mixing up and matching all sorts of fun stuff ive written down. Being the last of the 'fun vacation' chapters which will segue back into the main task at hand (hoof) at the end, this was going to be the debut of lots of pent up gags ive been saving.
problem is... this is like... 5 years of notes and they are COMPLETELY unorganized 
i never realized just how long the list had become and they are all over the place. im scrolling through to find specific things for one line of dialogue only to come across others that i either forgot to use prior or i want to use later, only to lose it in the ocean of notes before i try to find it again.
So it's been taking me forever, and i apologize for that, but it also didn't help that i had a few rough weeks of work right before this. BUT ANYWAY...
this is is the importance of ORGANIZATION because if i had this stuff arranged i wouldn't be dragging along the way i am right now. I may have been doing this for a while, but I can step on my own feet (hooves?) too sometimes.
So bear with me, it's taking longer than expected, but it will be out as soon as i get it all together.
So what you're saying is, you need some Twilight in your life.
Its all good take your time. Quality like yours takes a good amount of time so we are willing to wait
