hi all!
This is silly and 100% self-serving but it has been a struggle to get started and now that I finally did, I am hyped and want to share the hype! By all of this I mean that I am SUPER excited to preview an ENTIRE FULL PAGE of The Enchanted Carousel's prologue!

A Change of Plans
It had been one week since Discord had awoken from his sleep; a hundred and twenty years since he’d gone to said sleep; over six hundred years since the deal had been struck; and a little over a thousand years since…
Well, everypony knew that part, didn’t they?
And it just so happened that today of all days was the night. The one to remember! To celebrate! Where ponies of all ages played his game.
Princess Seeking Night.
For this particular Seeking Night, he’d chosen to visit Ponyville, even though he often preferred trying his Seeking Night luck elsewhere. Ponyville was just… acceptable. Harmless. Actually, it was deplorable. He’d visited every single corner of Equestria these past thousand years, and if he were to write a traveling guide, this is what he would write about Ponyville:
Home to dull ponies with dull lives in Equestria’s dullest town. Things to do in Dullyville include leave and not come back, or visit the wonderfully chaotic Everfree Forest, home to Princess Betray My Friends.
The latter was not intended to be mean, by the way. He’d long ago discarded all his ill will towards Twilight Sparkle, but as she herself had said the night they’d debated the existence of the moon, facts are facts.
As a small update, it seems we're on track for a potential end of February launch! The big thing right now is the cover art needs to be done, and it has like.... 10+ characters plus a lot of details so it's taking a bit!
Additionally, a HUGE shoutout to all my wonderful patrons who basically provided me the means necessary to go all out on the cover art for TEC. They are the real MVPs.
But anyway, yes, I'm really effin' stoked to finally get started on this lol And I hope you all are too!

This is gonna be good
I can imagine Discord as putting a batch of bacteria in a petri dish, leaving the experiment alone for a few centuries, and coming back only to find that the colony is dormant. He then leaves for another few centuries.
Then, one day, a fabulous little bacterium, a catalyst, invades the petri dish, the colony explodes and flourishes, and Discord comes back to his lab, drops his spectacles at the sight of the sapient macrobacterium blob taking over everything, and goes, "Ye gods, what even?"
The hype for this is insane. I can not wait.
