So as some sharp-eyed readers may notice, this story is not in my usual style. Or at least not 100% anyway.
This story was originally written by another author but the commissioner decided to shift to a different writer (me), who was tasked with editing the entire thing to bring it in line with their original vision. As such there are some artifacts of this other writer left over, due to me having not edited another's work very often. I still think the quality is good, but just be aware of that going in.
I also won't diss this other writer. It's just that the majority of the problems I encountered came from bringing the story in line with the commissioner's vision, and my own style.
With all that out of the way, the first 21 chapters are up here and then will be updated monthly (starting later this month) like my other stories, unless your a patron and then you get a look at the in process stuff. So without further ado, please give the story a look. I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you're a fan of world-building and adventure.

It was considerable. Especially when the rewrites and additions were all done. With those two things, I added about 30 pages, or nearly 4 chapters worth of words into it.

that's quite a bit of padding. i was tasked with 'editing' a story with a dozen or so chapter already, so i know it's an uphill battle
