I'm Working! · 3:04am Nov 30th, 2012
Hello readers!
I appreciate you taking your valuable time to read this blog update. It means a lot to me.
I just thought I'd keep you all updated as to how the next chapter is coming along. Which will take a small bit of explaining.
You see, Doc (editor), somehow got me sick.
I know, right? What a douche.
I became ill Thanksgiving night. And guess what?
I'm still sick!
Holy shit! I've been sick for an entire damn week!
I probably could have gotten better if I went to the doctors, but I hate doctors with a passion (except for my editor, of course).
So I went to school instead. And thus, I'm still sick. And very very very dehydrated. I'm feeling very poor.
Despite this, I tried writing.
I got like, 3,000 words so far, but it really needs some editing. Which I will do myself before giving to Doc.
This next chapter is probably going to be just as important as they all have been so far. Interpret that in any way you like.
But I have very big and dramatic plans for the future. Count on it. I just need time.
I ask you all for your patience, for I am working. I'm just ill.
I'm also trying to get into college right now. Just thought you'd all like to know that. Another reason I'm not working as fast as usual.
If you have any questions, suggestions, concerns, or insights involving absolutely anything, message me or comment below!
I insist.
Have a blessed day.
The night they drove old Dixie down,
all the people were singing,
ScatMan
Patience? You got it, friend!
You probably don't need me to tell you this, but there's no harm in it either way.
It's more logical for something to take a long time and be awesome forever opposed to something being done quickly then not being awesome forever.
TL;DR Great things take time.
I fucking hate doctors too, buddy. d:
Good luck with your illness and may the forces of evil become confused the way to your house, cutie.
Take care of yourself first. Everything else is secondary.
You've gotta watch that hydration. If you can't keep fluids down, you need to get someone to put an IV in and run a bag of fluids. Just don't wait too long to decide, dehydration can mess with your decision making capabilities.
You could also do the pinch test to check hydration, pinch up a bit of skin at the back of the hand or wrist, then release. The return rate of the skin reflects relative hydration, with slower returns to normal being more dehydrated.
What else? Oral Re-hydration Solution can be a life-saver if your electrolytes are off, usually if you've got the runs, they will be. The standard formula is as follows:
30 ml sugar : 2.5 ml salt : 1 liter water
If you don't need it, it's going to taste like shit. If you do, it'll be amazing.
Hope you recover speedily and without incident.

Well, uhh... I just, like... ... ... Died inside...
Nah, jk.
As bland as this may sound, hope you get better soon!
And may the odds be ever in your favor!
