Chapter 34 of Deperados is up, and lots of ART! · 9:19am Jan 29th, 2021

Look, it's the the specter Temboril, ain't she lovely.

So on the writing end, it's been going slowly, but at least it's progressing, though I still need to go look for an editor, I'm just being lazy. Storywize, things are starting to come to ahead, and the three hero's are coming to their lowest points and some lines may be crossed. all that fun stuff, just be warned, turns out I wright some depressing stuff, and not the "Oh no I killed everyone" depressing, the more personal "life really sucks right now" which I do hope will turn around once this story is over and the three hero's truly begin their adventure.

Now for more art, and a bit of lore.

here we have the Derecho, a bolt launching air rifle. this gun is what replaces the weapon Harp and Vibraphone uses after Orthrus starts colonizing the mainland and recruiting wastelanders. sing a "Spell Cell" Talisman to both power and produce a magical spell to fire the gun, it is a bit more compact and can be used by non mirage ponies. The Derecho would be widely disrupted through the local wasteland as a comercal product and adopted as an alternative hunting rifle for those who can afford it, or steal it.

Next is the Tempest air rifle. using the same tech that was used to make the Derecho, weapons manufacturer CG&K (Cornet Guns and Knives) was able to score a military contract with Orthrus and using Ironshods factory, mass produced the Tempest. using Mine-ball for amunition and a bullpup design, this rifle can hit hard, fast and with high volume. though still not considered quite as good as a standered rifle using ballistics, the fact that it's ammunition is cheaper, lighter and can fire far quieter then stander guns for outways the lower power. Also it dosent takes much to kill a pony in the first place, so most regulars of Orthrus were just happy to have a reliable gun that didn't make them go deaf.

Last is the railgun, Deluge. Learning from what worked with the Tempest, Orthrus managed to make a fully functional infantry railgun at a reduced cost. Still mostly the tools of the special forces like the Specters, the Deluge would be less kept secret and become an open display of power for Orthrus. This gun is as powerful and accelerate as a sniper rifle, with the firing rate of an LMG, the natural quietness of an a suppressed high powered rifle and most important, uses cheep ammunition that are as devastating as a 50cal. the only limitation is the materials needed to make the rails, with the easier to obtain metals corroding quickly, or the bet metals being exceptionally rare and difficult to processed correctly.

And that's it, thanks for reading, and as a reward, here is Sizzle in the naughty nightwear.
