The Survey series finale is in progress! · 2:51am Jan 23rd, 2021
So, it's been awhile since I touched on this series that has yet to be concluded, and I'm happy to say that it's finally happening. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I've started the official draft. I've written about three handwritten pages of a very rough draft to get an idea of how I want to conclude this series and have ideas of how it will happen. There's no doubting it, it's going to be a long finale that will probably be cut into parts to save people time, but I'm working to make it both interesting and filled will all sorts of references to the previous installments that will test your knowledge! Easter eggs are one of my favorite parts of writing sequels, so expect many in this final installment.
I already have clarification that Josh (The Box) will be returning, as hinted in the end of "Creation," as much as Carlyle (Creation) and Cheryl (The Box) and all of them will be playing major parts in the defeat of the cybernetic entity they all share; "the Doctor." The official title of the ending has also has been clarified as "Termination," seeing this is the final showdown with the Doctor and all of his victims that got away to finish what they started.
The majority of it will focus on figuring out how to defeat the antagonist, and trust me when I say that drastic measures are going to need to be taken to defeat this monstrosity, and I hope you payed heavy attention to Creation, because there's a lot of subject matter in relation to that story coming in this finale. As stated, all I have right now is a very rough draft, ideas, and a title, but I'm hoping to conclude this series of nearly 5 years in the making this year. I'm going to have my work cut out for me, but just like with Conflicts Between Dusk and Twilight, I had ideas at the same time last year for it, and it was done by April, so wish me luck.
I hope to bring you all a satisfying and epic conclusion to this series, and will keep updates posted on the process of the story, but until then, that's all I got. Thanks for reading!
