No seriously, I made a mistake in the last chapter!
Ever try and plan a story with a timeline and history set by someone else? Seriously, it is tough. The floor bosses were not conquered on a schedule. Some floors were quickly conquered, others not so much. June 26, they beat floor 63's boss. Next info is that in August the Front like is Floor 70. No idea when in August, only August.
I wrote Bajutsu first after they were done training, but that didn't line up correctly, so I shifted it to during the training. However, that means while I adjusted almost everything correctly, I failed to adjust the opening. The Wondercolts all should have been in the field. Diemond being back, was fine since she had armor to craft as well as training, but the others were supposed to be in the field 24/7. So, that has to be amended, because the next chapter, this Tuesday, goes back to their final day training.
That’s why they are making
SWORD ART ONLINE PROGRESSIVE until it’s out you could try the manga as that’s floor by floor and dates I think but upside is if you keep the time skips you can always make a side fic set after Aincrad with them talking about the other floors or just for key moments

It is a great image, and yes, he is doing the progressives, and I can't read mangas (its an eye thing) but I haven't been able to read them and they still are on the lower floors. Any info I need is on the wiki. Conically speaking it goes Light Novels, Anime, Manga, because that is how they were written, as a serial novel, the others were adaptions of the written work. I state that because most of my readers have only watched the anime and don't know the others exist. It is rare now a days for an anime to be based on a novel series. That isn't a common trait in the genre.

Also I’m here if you want ideas to convey time passage in dialogue until you know when a event happens because all I’ve done is give a date if it’s known and thrown in dialogue stating how longs passed since a floor or floors have been done

That is why I will be doing the alt-u "rewrite". I will be more free and I can adjust the timeline, and prominence of the Wondercolts. I still need the main cast to be the main cast, so certain things can't change, but this was supposed to be a handful of chapters, a simple, short adventure story. There are things I regret doing, and I will fix that.

I've got a team for the rewrite established, which I need to get back to. Grad school finals put a halt on a lot of my stuff. I'll keep you in mind. I do enjoy beta readers. When I progress a bit further, if I need a beta reader, I will see if you are available.

Waiting for Progressive will take a lot of our time, if I remember correctly right now it covers only first 6 floors and last volume was released in 2018.
