Hi everyone!!!
I hope you all had a really nice New Year's eve and an even BETTER New Year!!!
I'm kicking off this new year with some really FUCKING COOL NEWS which is photos of the TEL book so you can see it and be like, "holy cow!!!!! a book!!!! with photos??!!!! about tel??!!? it looks so good!!" and so you know your money was well spent
after that, we will talk about A FUCKING TEL ANIMATIC HOLY SHIT LIKE A FULL SONG??? MY GOD??
but first the photos (including some done by some wonderful russian friends who got the book early, took drinks, and then did a professional photo shoot????)
So basically the books look really good!!! and I'm super stoked for you all to get your copies!!! And remember some are still available to buy here!!

My wonderful friend Isa animated/drew a huge TEL animatic to the song "King" by Lauren Aquilina, which I've mentioned before is essentially the "theme song" of TEL. She put a lot of hard work into it, so it would mean a lot to me and to her if you could check it out! And leave a comment on youtube (or here, and she'll just check this page!!).
I haven't seen it yet, but I will in a little bit. Isa asked me to LIVE-STREAM my reaction in the patreon discord server so I will report back and edit this and tell you how much I cried.
EDIT: I CRIEHJFDJHDF IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND THERE WERE SO MANY MOMENTS HOLY SHIT i watched it a second time at .75 speed to see all the references and it was just v good dang

There are so many brilliant moments in the PMV. I'm on my third watch and still catching new things. The attention to detail is incredible, from having Rarity's cloak with her cutie mark at the wall of notes to Discord looming in the background of the princess shot near the beginning to the order of the characters appearing in the library matching up with when they appear in the fic. Not to mention the expressions. God, the expressions. The art really brings all the moments to life and make them even better, which I didn't think was possible. This is absolutely the best way to start the new year, and here's to another wonderful year of purple girlfriends.
Also I adore that picture of Rarity on the TEL books. She looks so smug about having her own story in print and I am 100% down with that. Can't wait to get my own copy.
It is fantastic. I must agree, this song could not be more fitting. I am glad your story is loved by so many to the point they went to make beautiful animatic like that one.

I included TEL on my Christmas list this year. My mother came to me one day in shock about the shipping costs (apparently she'd not read my note relating to them). I told her that if I didn't get TEL for Christmas, I would be buying it for myself December 26.
She got me TEL for Christmas.

This is just so beautiful and moving! Isa really brought this story even more to life!
That was fantastically delightful. It really brought the scenes to life and the song choice was excellent. Makes me want to go back and read it all over again for a third time.

As for the PMV, my god.
I already posted a comment on the video itself, but I just can't say this enough. I first read TEL three years ago, just after getting through one of the darkest moments of my life, and I'm ever so thankful it found its way into my life. This story means a lot to me, both emotionally and mental health wise, and I was floored to see it come to life with the song and artwork together.
My favorite part is during the lyrics:
You don't get what all this is about
You're too wrapped up in your self doubt
Because it's like Twilight is saying the first line, and Rarity is saying the second line in response, and it's just so perfect aaaaaa
Anyways, yeah I cried too, it was incredible
