Thus, 2020 is over.
What a horrorshow that was. Threats of war, actual bombings, people going berserk, the threat of mutant hornets (which suddenly disappeared), and a freak virus that continues to mess with us. And here I sit, lit by the screen of my machine and the lights of my little tree, thinking about the future after this. I've got so much to do. Many writing projects either on a burner, a back burner, or still in the fridge ready to be started. Art projects that I need to get done in order to finalize my book (including getting a cover made). A variety of games that I need to complete (especially ones that I started and just left behind).
Perhaps 2021 will be a better year; A better year for people in general and a better year for creativity. Hopefully we'll all be able to crawl out of the darkness of our tombs and sarcophagi that we call our homes and rooms and once again have the choice to interact with the world relatively unrestricted once more. Maybe things will finally start to go on the upswing, and we'll all see more good news than bad.
Who knows.
But, the things I know for sure? I'll still be here. I'll still write (or at least, try). I'll still be lovin' dem silly ponies. And I'll still be the strange, spooky, stupid, silly sonuvabich that came here all those years ago. I'm not gonna go anywhere. And if 2021 tries to pull anything funny? Bring it on. I've got a bat.
Happy New Fear!
