    I Live!

But I’m on a buttload of drugs and am going to pass out.

Surgery went great, even better than expected. I’ll elaborate more later.

    Until next time!

Happy New Year! (AKA GTFO 2020!) · 5:15am Jan 1st, 2021

Heya, folks!

I think we can all agree that no matter where you are in the world, 2020 has been a royal s:yay:show. Some places more so than others for a variety of reasons. But as all the TV commercials keep telling us, we're all in this together, and we made it to the end of the year (though sadly, many of us know people that didn't—myself included—so a moment of silence for them :ajsleepy:).

It was great to see everyone around here being there for each other, lifting people up when they really needed it, and just keeping others sane when necessary. As someone with a pre-existing condition and in the high-risk group for people catching Covid, I spent the majority of my time inside this year, and I was one of those people that you helped. When I wasn't writing (read: trying to write), I had a place to go to read and keep myself occupied, people to hang out with online and talk with over discord, we had a few online conventions (PonyFest online and BABSCONline just to name a few)... it was great hanging out with you guys.

I know it's already 2021 some places out there, but being on the East coast USA, it just struck midnight for me a few minutes ago, so

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

My avatar has been changed for a day or two (and will stay that way for another) for the occasion.

I don't know how many of you are making resolutions this year—I haven't the past couple—but this year... I'm going to TRY... to finish A Daughter and Her Dragon. Unfortunately, it isn't only on me, because I do need the help of my editor, and I won't thrust my unfinished chapters on him and say, "C'mon c'mon c'mon!" because he does have a family and a job. And I do have a lot more planned (some of you have seen the images of the current chapter tabs I have up on my browser that haven't closed in like, months. And that doesn't even make it to the end of the act.

But I guess I can confidently resolve to finish A Patient and Her Nurse, the DaD prequel. I'll hopefully have that done within the next month or two (because I'm STILL binging Austraeoh— currently about 2/3 of the way through Utaan).

That's all for now. Until next time!
