Okay, remember how the Mayan calendar said the world was supposed to end in 2012? What if something similar existed in Equestria, but their actual date was supposed to be 2021 and it was incorrectly transcribed as 2012? Amidst the world ending, Twilight would be on an investigation looking for the pony who wrote the date wrong, because she was more upset about the clerical error than the actual end of the world. Librarian principles, you see.

How about a character that figures out to put magic into their insults or compliments to literal or vague results.

Imagine that a character screams "Mother Fucker! after stubbing a toe only for the every creature within hearing range to do just that by some messed up compulsion.

pinkie pie tries to ship anon with her little sister marble pie. Cause Marble pie is too shy to ask people out on her own, (also she doesnt want to) but pinkie pie sets up a date anyway.
The reason why Marble is so shy, is cause out of all the pie sisters, shes the biggest and strongest, despite being the youngest, and never trained a day in her life.
So anon and marble try to make the best of it, and have a casual just-friends-date.
Its awkward as hell.
