    Yes I am alive

Sorry I've been so absent as of late. My new project kinda absorbed me a bit :twilightsheepish: Actually, for the past year ever since I decided to write a Warriors fanfiction I couldn't really think about much else as far as writing is concerned, even right now.

    It's been 10 years!

Yeah, it's been 10 years since I've made an account on this website and published the first two chapters of Rebirth of the Damned, my first story (you can't tell now because back then when you would edit chapters and save them then it would overwrite the date of publication).

Happy Holidays^^ and news · 9:23pm Dec 25th, 2020

Okay, first off, before moving to the obvious part of the post, I'm gonna do a bit of advertising :derpytongue2: One of my editors and friend (and the one who talks me out of most of my more stupid ideas for Infinite Potential) TimePrincess recently opened an Etsy Shop, where you can order a cute Animal Crossing style portrait of your pets!

By purchasing a listing, you will get a personalized portrait of your dear pet in the style of an Animal Crossing villager (and will help her and her cats to not starve!)

They are made to order and are completely one of a kind.

So, if you are a fan of Animal Crossing, have a pet, or just like drawings of cute animals, head on to https://www.etsy.com/listing/930465989/animal-crossing-pet-portrait and order some^^

Happy Holidays^^ I hope that, whichever holiday you are celebrating, you've all been able to spend this time of year happily with family and friends, despite the unfortunate circumstances of this year^^ And to those that couldn't be with family and friends due to them, I hope that you've managed to be happy nonetheless, and more importantly safe.

I am currently working on Infinite Potential, got 3k words so far for chapter 18, which I think is somewhere between 1/3 and 1/4 of the full length. And considering that if I actually put an effort into writing, I can get 3k words a day easily (with my record, which I recently reached again, being 5k), so I'll definitely get the chapter done before the end of the year. Unfortunately, I don't think my proofreading-editing team will manage to get it looked over before 31st, so you'll probably have to wait until January before you get to read it. However, it will still count as the 3rd IP chapter for this year, so in 2021 you will get 3 other chapters besides this one.

Now, some other news. As I'm sure you've all figured out, I've been playing WoW as of late, as its newest expansion Shadowlands came out. Which I am enjoying very much^^ Except some of my initial excitement had toned down a bit, and been focusing on my main character only, even though I had leveled up one of the alts to try one of the other covenants. And I'm not in a hurry to level up two more. Really enjoyed the leveling process, but the FIRST one, the second one where you chose your covenent right from the start, the "Threads of Fate" or whatever? Yeah, it sucks. Doing stuff through each zone to complete it and move on to the next one took forever, and after I finished all four, guess what? I had 2 more levels left to go -_- I had to do the various side quests from each zone, and most of those were boring, I had actually planned to ignore those and just focus on the storyline when starting playing on the alt before I decided to give this alternate leveling path a try. Which boy do I regret. So yeah, when I do get my other alts to max level, it will be through playing the storyline again.

Because the storyline is great. I almost cried at the end of Ardenweald leveling storyline.

Now, as you might recall, my main is a night elf druid, so obviously, I chose the Night Fae covenant, because it fits extremely well, and more importantly it continues the Night Warrior storyline, among few others. Also the druid ability is awesome, so that's a big bonus^^

(On that note, while I am a little annoyed with the new customization still doesn't allow the night elves to have optional antlers - seriously, they made taurens with antlers sooner! - I am super glad about the option to change eye color. As you might know before that, default color for male night elf was gold, while female had silver. In fact, all night elves have silver eyes, gold/amber eyes are considered rare; 10k years ago they were extremely rare, but with raise of druidism in night elf society they became far more common, with some developing gold eyes later on during their lives as they progressed along the path of druidism. However, what I loved the most, was the optional scar that looks like a huge burn mark on half of the face, which is called simply: "Teldrassil")

Aside from WoW, I've been playing also Fallout 76, although have yet to try the newest content, Steel Down. However, I did finally finish the main storyline from the original content. In fact, I finished it on the day of elections in USA, and as you might know, the last part of that questline ends in a nuclear silos, fighting your way through robots to fire a nuke at a fissure where Scorchbeasts emerge from. So, at the point when I finally got to the controls, the results of the votes in West Virginia were known... sooo launching a nuke at that state felt disturbingly fun xD Got a photo with myself saluting in Enclave uniform to commemorate the occasion xD

In other news, my favorite show, Supernatural, had come to an end recently. Oh, how I wish I've been watching it from the beginning, since 2006; I got hooked on the show in 2015. Still, that was a long time. This show is... amazing. Yes, the plot kinda derails after 5th season, especially in the last few, but I still found it entertaining, and more importantly, the characters were still amazing and I loved the interactions between them. And the humor was great throughout the series, and bloopers and the lore in the show about monsters, demons, angels... everything was fun. It gave me a few ideas here and there. And man, definitely adding Destiel to the list of my favorite ships^^

I am currently re-watching all episodes on Amazon Prime, in the middle of season 5 now. I forgot how great the first few seasons were.

Okay, that about wraps up everything significant, I might make another blog post soon when I finish the chapter or when it's New Years, in case I won't I wish you all Happy New Year^^

Ah, good luck to TimePrincess with her new venture!

And Happy Appropriate Holiday(s), yes! Thanks. :)

And thanks for the updates. :)
Good luck with the writing and editing!

Ah, and glad you're enjoying the new WoW expansion. :)

So, to clarify, you were glad about the option to change eye color because it let you get closer to the lore?

And glad you've been having some fun in Fallout 76.
I relatively recently was having fun with an OWB (HoI4) New Vegas playthrough, but unfortunately apparently something in the save broke just as I was about to start what'd probably be the last big, and crowing, war of the playthrough (It was going to be me and Moctezuma vs. the NCR. I'd fought the NCR's Mojave offshoot, the name of which I keep forgetting, for the Mojave, then teamed up with the NCR against the western Legion when the latter attacked me and helped the former eat the latter, then as relations with the NCR increasingly soured I used my increasingly formidable air force to help Moctezuma eat the eastern Legion; he'd already done quite well in Mexico, and I had much better relations with him than the NCR. And RP-wise, it seemed like we could likely do business. :) Anyway, at the time the save broke, as I recall, Moctezuma and the NCR had just gone to war, and I had troops (extremely powerful robots, naturally) positioned on my borders with the NCR and war plans laid. Don't recall just what I was waiting for to join, possibly NCR troops to be drawn down south and away from what'd be my front lines, but moot now, of course.). The save would load, but then if I tried to advance time, a few hours after the saved point it reliably crashed to desktop. I don't know why, and nothing I tried seemed to fix it. The playthrough was at least mostly done, but I was still disappointed. Oh well. Still had fun up to that point. :)

(I don't remember, sorry -- do you play HoI4 at all? If so, while I haven't tried it so far, I thought I'd mention the Balefire Blues mod in case you'd not heard of it yet but would be interested. :))

And glad you enjoyed that television program.
(I'm skipping watching the linked video, though, as I'm not, at least a present, much interested but I am very low on time. Glad you like it, though. :))
And glad you're enjoying the rewatching!

And Happy New Year to you too, in case there isn't another blog post for that!
