Jinglemas 2020 · 8:46pm Dec 25th, 2020
I received this gift for Jinglemas 2020! It's a dungeon crawl with two adorkable magic nerds running from a bunch of ice monsters.
It has a delightfully silly take on horror and romance (which is a good thing, considering the characters involved!)
Thank you, Hey its that Pony!
Notes on my own Jinglemas 2020 story:
This story may seem familiar to those who have read Space Fluff, as it has my own personal brand of social anxiety. As one may expect, I'm writing that from experience. The Loneliest Holiday is actually inspired by a mixture of the social anxiety I had at age 17, the loneliness I had at age 26 when I lived alone, and the boredom from 2020 when everything had to be canceled. Those were my peak moments of each respective feeling.
Although I would hope that each story I write would get easier, this one was much harder than the previous, from an entire year ago. Maybe that's just 2020's effect. If I keep at it, I'm hopeful that it will get easier.
After The Loneliest Holiday, My next story needs to be more light-hearted. I'm thinking An Aggressively Naked Wallflower Blush Steals a TV From Megamart and the Security Guard Can't Remember the Phone Number for 911 or possibly a EqG crossover with some bizarre anime. Then I can get back to my old unfinished stuff.
Somehow I seriously doubt the security guard would notice if Wallflower Blush pranced around naked and shoplifted.
