Which are particularly important this time, because the first preread I got back was negative. As it came from AJ_Aficionado, whose opinions I particularly value mostly because he’s more interested in the story than the sex, I tend to give what he said about it credence but still want to hear from everyone else before I start making changes to the new chapter.

Next Midnight Rising Chapter launches tonight; Next Firefly chapter underway · 8:01pm Dec 16th, 2020

An even 6000 words for the former; already 3300 words down for the latter, which will open with a short section from everybody's favorite bat-eyed badass, Fell Flight.

It will then return the story to the front lines through a new perspective, introducing General Rock Biter to describe the desperate fighting and attempts to escape envelopment in and around Maresk as gryphon pincers close on the city. I will be making maps for this one, which is usually an entire weekend of work. But I'll have Xmas week off, so...

For those of you reading Midnight Rising, enjoy the new chapter and excuse me as I take a break from it a bit. Time to shift back from crazy clopfic to best warfic in the meantime.
