Usual Announcements and Deadlines + Last Resort · 8:26pm Dec 14th, 2020
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to give you all a quick update on things and life and writing and stuff.
The first thing is thank you all for being patient with the lack of content! This year has been rough, and work has kept me super busy, so I just wasn't In The Zone, as it were.
The other big thing, which I've mentioned before, is that I've been working on an original thing for a while. I'm actually the head writer of a comic that is being done with some artists (two of them of the horse fandom, one not) so we've all really been focusing on that. Patrons in my patreon server have been able to see some previews and concept art, and it's really shaping up to be really cool.
We're hoping to launch sometime next year, and a have a soft pre-launch in a few months so I'll promo that when the time comes.
Anyway, back to horse!
In the spirit of transparency, as I always try to keep with you all, I was really not feeling horse for a while. It was a combination of working on an original project, This Year, and just.... I don't know. I was having a hard time finding a reason to continue, and I saw myself making these blogposts where I kept trying to hype myself up for it, and I just wasn't feeling it.
Several acquaintances also Officially Left the fandom in the past few months, and cancelled their stories, so I was also being like "should I too??". However, after meditating it I just realized that Enchanted Kingdom will goddamn haunt me 'til I die if I don't finish it, so I will, though I allowed myself a big break to just... recuperate.
The break will go on for a bit more, because this month I want to focus on comic work, but I'm giving myself a soft deadline of January 10th for a TEK update. Crimson, if you follow that, will probably also update before that, but that's just because Crimson is easier to write for lol

Speaking as a fellow writer who has had this year kick their teeth in motivation wise? I understand needing a break and all that stuff.
