Hey, do you remember that time I was like, "Kan en dansker hjælp mig lave en kage?" and there was delicious-looking cake? Well, awesome guy Celefin has come through with an intimidating (and not-so-intimidating) translated recipe for making it. :D I'm so excited, you guys.
So today... I've got these five lists, you see, of 'verses like Oversaturated World and Lunaverse, that I'm supposed to pull from first. Only two of them — now three, if I'm not mistaken — are waterlogged at really big stories I'm going to have to sit down and focus on at some point. So this is a few of those plus some off my RIN. Enjoy!

Sequel to What Shy Did on Her Summer Vacation
Genre: Oversaturated World Comedy
Twilight's not the only one looking for a summer job.
About halfway through thinking not a whole lot was going on in this story beyond world-building, I realized, damn, these characters are written really well! And that's pretty much the draw. Sunset and Sci-Twi are dating (wait, since when? It's been a while since I last read OW, but I don't remember that happening! O.o), Twilight's parents want her to get a job because she's starting to develop an arrogant detachment toward mere mortals, Sunset wants a job for similar reasons, things resolve peacefully but in a pleasantly creative way. And there's a whole ton of Sunset having to deal with being viewed as a god, which is always fun. Niche as this is, it's pretty good!

Genre: Light Lunaverse Comedy
With Rainbow Dash's griffin friend in town, she's become a real hoofful. For whatever reason, it falls to Raindrops to do something about it.
Okay, this is what the Lunaverse is really good for: How would Rainbow Dash, minus any friends to be loyal to, handle a visit by her old flying buddy? Also, Raindrops really needed a starring role in something. And she does well here! This is a good secondary look at Griffon the Brush-Off, which not only uses its altered characters well, but also comes up with a different ending that completely took me by surprise. The writing does have some issues, the typos being rather frequent, but it's also pretty old, so don't hold it against it too much. Honestly, aside from that, this was one of the best stories I've read in this 'verse to date. :)

Genre: Immortality Angst
A question has been bothering Twilight.
You know when I drag out that genre tag, the only question is, "does this stand apart from the rest?" This one, I'm pleased to say, absolutely does, because the answer to Twilight's question is a creation story, and it's really neat. Not to mention, it's quite touching, given that this story is a tribute. I was also pleased by the wordplay with 'verse'. And, true to its description, it very much stands on its own apart from the previous story.

It's exactly what you think it is.
As much of a classic work of art as that cover is, I'm shocked it's taken this long for someone to write this story. I mean, it's only been 2 years, but still. Anyway, this is a long string of facts about birds punctuated by Discord being juvenile and me being just as juvenile, right alongside him. XD There's nothing to this story, and yet? I laughed my head off because I'm 12. Highly Recommended for Laughs

According to the note I left for myself, I am reading this entirely for the author’s name. It's their only story, and it looks like the account was created just to post it, because they were only active in 2015. And, yeah, turns out the author's name is the best part of this, because this is just clop, and it's not written particularly well. I mean, you have horse woman OC and dragon guy OC, and they fuck in a sauna. That's it, that's all there is. It's barely even pony related. God, and there's so much whitespace. Sorry, Neil.

Oh, that's a good point. I really do need to dig the whole start of Sci-Twi and Sunset's relationship in that world out of the heaving pile of minifics. Thanks for pointing it out.

I have no quarrel with those who write stories that are just a stupid pun. But I can't help but wonder how Discord Pokes Fluttershy's Tits can possibly stand up to Gilbert and Sullivan's making the same joke the centerpiece of the "emotional" "climax" of The Mikado. Even the Muppets knew it was gold. Even 150-ish years later, that's a tough act to follow!
