The changeling in question turned around, sniffling; it was obvious he had been crying in the dark, empty room for a while.
Thorax trotted closer. “You still upset about Tempest?”

“Oh...” Thorax looked off to the side, before putting a hoof on his brother’s shoulder. “I’m sure if you talked it out with her, maybe—”
“I tried that, Thorax, but it didn’t work! Face it... she wants nothing to do with me... ever again.”
“Look, I know it’s hard, but it’s gonna be okay—”
“THEY ALWAYS SAY THAT!” Pharynx screamed as he stormed out of the room, away from his brother.
