Well, for those wondering what's going on after the last blog, the bone scan came out fine. I still have a wound on my leg, but am seeing a wound-care nurse to get the dressing stuff dealt with while my doc cycles through antibiotics until he finds one that kills the infection.

I have been struggling to keep focused (and been running through rum, whiskey, and paracetamol) and get writing done, but am progressing through obligations and even some side projects (though not the usual extras I'd work on).

Life trundles on, however. On another note, ordered myself some new displays. Sick of the 1080p and 1200p screens I have flanking my 4K screen, so swapping the 27" 4K screen to one of the flanking ones, getting a second 27" 4K, and getting a huge 32" 4K screen for the middle display. LibreOffice will never look so good.

Peace, everyone. I hope you have a wonderful [holiday of choice]!

Groovy. Hope your recovery is quick and conveniant.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

(Also, it is so weird to think about how much of Michelle Creber's life has been taken up by FiM.)

I hope for your quick recovery.

Please be careful combining ethanol with paracetamol/APAP/Acetaminophen/Tylenol taking both together creates a powerful hepatoxin that can severely damage (no pun intended) your liver.

5403842 Indeed. One drink and one adult dose of paracetamol shouldn't be a problem.

I remember back in college kids taking a whole pack of paracetamol and a small bottle of white spirit. That shit wasn't pretty.

5403842 Hrmm, looked further into this. The hepatoxin metabolite only seems to become evident when the person is:
—Drinking extreme amounts of alcohol (heavy alcoholic).
—Taking what amounts to an overdose of paracetamol (far above therapeutic quantities).

A good paper on it here: https://www.nps.org.au/australian-prescriber/articles/alcohol-and-paracetamol
