So apparently Rob Paulsen survived throat cancer in the last 20 years, and it seems to have taken a toll on his voice. I can't not hear Yakko's inexplicable lisp now. Though Pinky doesn't have it? o.O That just me?

Mmmm... I can't help but think of that quote from Yahtzee, or I think it was him: "Ironically pointing out the fact that you're doing something tired and cliche doesn't change the fact that you're doing something tired and cliche." I honestly would have preferred a new show with the same wit and charm instead of blatant nostalgia pandering which, even if the show is good (and apparently it is), it still is.

I'll simply say Yahtzee is wrong, because part of Animaniacs' humor has always come from self-awareness. And the show IS still good with plenty of wit and charm anyway.
