In this timeline, the Decepticons eventually won their war with the Autobots on Earth. Skynet and the Terminators were developed by Skywatch (an anti-Transformer secret government organization) to fight the Decepticons, and eventually they sent a Terminator back in time to 1984 to stop the Transformers from awakening. The T-800 allies with the Autobots as the Decepticons happen to attack Cyberdyne Systems, where they recognize the advanced robotics research they're doing. The Terminator ends up sacrificing himself to extinguish Megatron's spark and the other Decepticons are destroyed along the way, but the Autobots then realize he double-crossed them and blew up the Ark - since the Terminator arrived when only a few Transformers for each faction were awakened, most of them were still dormant on the Ark and now destroyed.

The Autobots go into hiding on Earth, while Skywatch ends up taking possession of Megatron's corpse and is implied to use his consciousness as the basis for a new incarnation of Skynet, with gigantic T-8000 Terminator endoskeletons that look like Megatron

Huh, and I thought Superman Vs The Terminator, or Robocop Vs The Terminator were a bit out there.
