TTISI: Halo 5: Multiplayer (hmmm)

Okay, so, I decided to give Halo 5 one last shot. It’s campaign is shit, hands down, but it’s multiplayer is... redeemable. *sees lootboxes* Oh for fuck’s sake, I just said Y’all were redeemable! Don’t remind me of your bullshit!

So, let’s try Slayer, a 4v4 team death match mode.

*has died 18 times, killed 2 enemies* SO THERE’S A FEW PROBLEMS. Straight up, I don’t even know why they gave us assault rifles when apparently pistols are more effective. Which kinda saddens me since I actually love the assault rifle more than any other weapon (except the shotgun). In some maps, people can access rocket launchers and sniper rifles, and are more adept to using them. Which, I’m not gonna bash them for using it, as much as it pisses me off. Maybe Big Team Battle could be better?

To my genuine surprise, it is. It’s far more balanced and open-ended, and when I die it’s not because of a sniper or any God-forbidden rocket launchers! I’m having... dare I say it, fun!?

Welp. The lootboxes decided to be generous today. After many hours of grinding, I got a new piece of armor. I completely forgot what it’s called, but it’s better than what I’ve got. So, what other game mode should we try- *sees Free For All*... fuck yeah.

Uh, okay, first time I’ve played in a while and I’m already in second place. Maybe I can get lucky and get a new helmet with lootboxes. *uses REQ*... *gets a permit for two assault rifles with different mods*... am I a joke to you?

Okay, so, I like Big Team Battle the most. Free For All (or Rumble Pit) is like, half a step down. I love it, but I still like BTB more. Slayer is unbalanced to me, but then again, I’ve been stuck with retarded teammates.

“Well Yellow, that’s not very nice-“ I literally threw a grenade, and a teammate decides now is a great time to step in, and it hits him. At first, I kept accidentally hitting teammates because apparently when I aim down my gun, that’s the best time to run by my line of sight. And worst of all, I’ve repeatedly had at least ONE teammate stand in a corner, walking into it, and doing absolutely nothing to contribute to the team. So yes, the majority of my teammates in Slayer matches are as helpful as a brain dead zombie.

Speaking of zombies, the next mode I’ll try is Infection.

.... I see the appeal to it. I don’t really like it, but I see the appeal to it. It’s fun, challenging, and an awesome way of having a zombies mode. Yes, I know, they aren’t zombies, they’re infected/flood, but you know what? Flood just reminds me of zombies. I hate zombies. They aren’t creepy, it’s just that I hate simplistic plans being used against me. I’m so used to overthinking and trying to plan out what my enemy would do, it really doesn’t occur to me that they have the option to simply walk up to me.
