The Soldier · 12:40am Nov 11th, 2020
The Soldier is a human entity that came under our custody on January 1st, 2020. He was dressed in a WW1 U.S. military uniform and was carrying a Lee Enfield rifle. Initial thoughts were panic and ST-Beta 2-1 were supposed to detain him by force, but the Soldier willingly entered our custody. Upon further inspection, we found out that the Soldier was extremely polite and passive. In fact, he seemed interested in our work. Upon questioning, we found out he is a soldier. He has said he has fought in every war in existence. This was proven when he created a portal and pulled one of our security members into. When the two returned, the security guard said that he and the Soldier were brought to the Battle of Thermopylae. It was also noticed that the Soldier's WW1 uniform was changed into a Spartan soldier's armor and his rifle was replaced by a spear. When asked why he went to the Battle of Thermopylae, he said, "Thermopylae is one of my favorite battles. I am fascinated by the bravery of the Greeks and how only a few thousand soldiers can hold off a larger force of about thirty-thousand."
Further questioning has revealed that the Soldier loves war, saying it's an adventure unlike any other. This is unusual, as most soldiers don't like talking about or remembering war. However, he enjoys talking about his experiences in wars. This has helped our researchers find out certain things previously unknown to historians.
Another thing observed from the Soldier is the ability to travel between universes and maybe even create its own universes. During an interview, a researcher asked the Soldier how many universes he has created, to which he replied, "not many. I usually delete my created universes, save for a few."
The researcher then asked if he created our universe, to which he replied, "no. I have no knowledge of who created this universe. Believe what you believe."
Then, he was asked about the universes he created that he keeps, to which he replied, "Heheh, let's just say I enjoy leading an American resistance against the krauts."
He was asked where he draws the line in war, to which he replied, "as long as you're not a terrorist, I'll follow you to the end." When asked why he despises terrorists, he replied, "terrorists deserve to burn in the deepest pits of Hell."
Finally, he was asked about his favorite battles. The following listed are what he reports as his favorites:
- The Battle of Stalingrad
- The Normandy Landings
- The Battle of Thermopylae
- The Battle of Midway
- The Warsaw Uprising
- The Battle of the Atlantic
- The Falklands
- The Battle of Gettysburg
- The Battle of Belleau Woods
- The Battle of Argonne Forest
- The Battle of the Bulge
- The Battle of Rorke's Drift
- The Battle for Castle Itter
- The Battle for Hill 3234
- The German Blitzkriegs
During tests, it was discovered that the Soldier is seemingly immortal. He gave consent for a security member to shoot him with a 50. Caliber rifle pointblank in the head. After the Soldier was shot, he collapsed to the floor and all bodily functions ceased. The security member felt guilt and remorse over possibly killing the Soldier, but after about two or so hours, he returned with no signs of body trauma or damage, surprising everyone involved in the experiment.
As of now, the Soldier freely roams our facility as a security member, training new security members, tells stories to those eager about his experiences, and is even allowed to go out in public, per agreement that he will wear civilian clothes, and stay secret about his immortality, and only change into military uniforms when he's deployed. Further testing and interviews will be scheduled and preformed regularly. Not that Soldier seems to mind.
Woah! Cool!

Really?
5396154
Mhm. It's great
5396155
Heh, thanks
5396158
No problem
Passive SCPs like this always make me happy. I don't know why.
5396166
Perhaps since most of them try to kill us?
5396167
No, thats not it. Those are the fun ones anyway. I think it has something to do with the facilities being "ok, your chill. We can vibe with that" and let them wander around/work at the facility.
